A Public bid project that allowed Spider Ranch to design and build a Theater Audio System for this University. A Meyer Sound speaker system was specified by the owner along with a Soundcraft VI-series digital console. The owner had pre-purchased the entire equipment complement and in turn contracted with Spider Ranch for the needed design and installation. Main speakers are wall mounted, lip fill speakers are bolted to the orchestra pit and subwoofers required Spider Ranch to recess them into the walls. A new console position was created at the rear portion of the seating within the room, to allow the console engineer to come into the new century, so the engineer would not have to mix from the old control booth upstairs with a window. A rack backstage with patching and a Lyntec power sequencer controls all the system power in sequence.
